Comic of the Week: DREAM*SCAR
October 9, 2013
Aaaand the real-life drama continues for another week. Good thing we have this fabulous comic by Heather Meade to distract us!

I started reading this one a long while back, and, as with last week's spotlight comic, I've never been bored with it. If you're a fan of the angsty shenanigans that ensue when supernaturals live among humans, this one's for you. And believe me, I mean that in a very positive way. Beautiful art, engaging story. Comic of the Week: SOMBULUS

Recently, I've been too stressed out to work on my webcomic. Lots of things happened around the same time, and... life. It's been a stupid couple of weeks.

BUT, I am happy to report that the same thing did NOT happen to Delphina, the creator of this week's SpiderForest featured comic:

This is one of those comics in which you kind of discover the plot as you go along, and I don't want to ruin that for anyone. What I can say is that the characters are solid, the writing is fun, and every world--because there's more than one of them--is portrayed in its own unique visual style. I went through the archive over a couple of afternoons and didn't get bored once. Check it out by clicking on her banner image above.

Sometimes, you'd just rather shuffle through a stack of papers.

I ended up having to rewrite about half the text on this page last night because I abruptly realized that the original version contradicted some already established aspects of the memory loop. It made me realized exactly how old some of the existing script is, and that I might want to go back and review all of my old notes.
